Tidy but thoughtless. Unfortunately, there is still this attitude that
if you toss it in the rubbish (trash for US speakers) then it is no
longer your concern. Sure, things have improved¹; you are now likely to
face a hefty fine for dumping oil down the drain (if you're caught) but
the damage has already been done.
Is there a fine in Germany, Ralf, or where you live Andrei?
¹ There are now recycling bins scattered around the city, and there are
two types of bin we put out for the rubbish collector(s), on alternate
weeks.
