I really hate your situation, but I don't think that the project
intended to give this team the power to deal with DDs who have key
problems, which I assume is what ticket #224 is about (I don't have
permission to read that ticket).

On a technical level, the debian-maintainers package has a test suite
that will fail if a name/email in the DD keyring is found in the DM
keyring.

Please only ask the ones who would be good maintainers. Unless they all
would. :-)
