No. As filesytems only tend to get slow with *lots* of files, and not
even Debian has that many users. The benefit of not having to patch ssh
compared to the slightly (nanoseconds, milliseconds? not noticable i
think) longer lookup for the key is too huge to keep a monolithic file, imo.
But for people who fear the impact it is optional to use it, default
off.
