yes, hopefully i can.

i'm just about to run out the door for a train, but first make sure
that there's a problem with the latest dbconfig-common in unstable,
as i think there were a couple funny bugs in the previous version.
  
otherwise, if you oculd send me installation output, a link
to a source package i could download, your resulting
/etc/dbconfig-common/foo.conf file, i can help look more into it.
