i don't think i've seen this before as a feature request, which might
explain why there isn't an out-of-the-box variable or something to do it.

however, i think it is possible to do without getting your hands dirty:
have you tried using sql commands in the install-dbadmin directory?  there's
also a hint variable called dbc_sql_substitutions (iirc) in case you want
to substitute in the db/user names into the grant statement.
