[Dctrl-tools-devel] Release plans for 2.22.x

Hi,

I think 2.22 is the branch we should let be released in wheezy.  That is, no
feature changes at all, and only those code or string changes that are
necessary to fix actual bugs.  I don't anticipate any of the latter.

My plan is to release point releases when there's cause to do so.  Cause
being:

  - translation updates and new translations
  - pending bugfixes

Once wheezy is frozen, only changes that are expected to merit freeze
exceptions should be committed to the maint-2.22 branch.

Also, I won't upload a new point release so long as there's another version in
unstable waiting to move to testing.  That means a point release roughly every
two weeks at most.

I'm planning to make the first such point release later today, with the two
translation updates I just committed, unless someone objects.
