[Deb-scipy-devel] New Numpy and Scipy releases

Hi folks,

   I just updated svn repo to include build of numpy (1.0b1) and scipy
   (0.5.0)

   Major changes:

   numpy: applied patch from Ubuntu (by Matthias Klose [1]).
          numpy now includes numarray and oldnumeric: I added both in
          python-numpy.
   
   scipy: modified deps on numpy (>=1.0b1).
          removed a pyhton2.3.dpatch (now included in upstream).

   Both packages build and upgrade fine from previous version.

   I cannot upload debs to deb-scipy.alioth.debian.org because I have a
   slow connection (I am on holidays).

   If you don't have objections I can upload both Monday/Tuesday when I
   will come back to work.

   Josè: there are a number of scipy bugs that I think we can close. Is
   it OK with you if I close them?
