[Deb-scipy-devel] Bug#393407: python-numpy: import numpy fails

Package: python-numpy
Version: 1:1.0rc1-1
Severity: important

If I run "import numpy" in Python2.4, then this error message appears:

>>> import numpy
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in ?
  File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/numpy/__init__.py", line 40, in ?
    import linalg
ImportError: No module named linalg

Maybe I'm missing some package dependency, but I couldn't find a package
linalg or python-linalg.

Same problem with version 1:1.0b1-1 of python-numpy.
