Awesome, thanks. It's done and the new revision was already uploaded.
The buildbots are quite busy:

http://buildd.debian.org/pkg.cgi?pkg=python-numpy

so it's only available on amd64, arm and m68k so far. New revision
will follow shortly, some more bugs need to be fixed.
