Hi, if you're trying to fix a somehow broken installation and all you've got is a command line (lets say X ain't workin right) it definitely helps having mc at hand. Certainly not needed by experts - but they don't have problems anyway. My suggestion: MC necessary in any new installation. Hope I'm right here. Thanks for a great system. Roman Brodylo
