As far as I know, there is no decision yet on this.  I edited it,
because the comment about "genisoimage-2.02" makes no sense.  And I
could not spot anything in the POSIX spec that hardwires option-letters
to specific meanings.

I personally don't care whether the meaning will be changed or not, but
if it is changed, the reason I see is compatibility to mkisofs and not
POSIX compliance.
