Hi,
drive and media do not like each other.
Hard to say which entity is to blame.
It may well be just an unlucky couple.
If possible try other media.

SCSI command 54h is SEND OPC INFORMATION, a usual
preliminary activity before writing begins.
The drive is supposed to adjust itself to the
media. This fails.
