The problem is not with mkisofs but rather with
k3b.
> mkisofs calculate size command:
> ... -path-list
> /tmp/kde-de/k3bz11936.tmp
This option opens file k3bz11936.tmp and reads
file addresses from it line by line.
k3b should know that it cannot be suitable for
a file address that consists or more than one
line.
That file address could be given separetely as
program argument for mkisofs.
Better would be to have a path list format
that can deal with any legal file address.
(Like xorriso -quoted_path_list.)

Support for this brand of mkisofs would rather be
given at cdwrite at other.debian.org
But as said, you need to talk to k3b support.
