Package: debhelper
Version: 10.7.2
Severity: serious
File: /usr/bin/dh_strip
User: helmutg at debian.org
Usertags: rebootstrap
Control: affects -1 + src:fuse

Hi Niels,

I noticed that cross building fuse failed. Once. The issue isn't
reproducible, at least not easily. It also FTBFSed on the jenkins
reproducible builds:

https://tests.reproducible-builds.org/debian/rb-pkg/unstable/i386/fuse.html

| dh_strip --dbg-package=fuse-dbg
| chmod: cannot access 'debian/fuse-dbg/usr/lib/debug/.build-id/2b/bbc8403aec6a1ea2abd3cf6467439e0c4ae1ed.debug': No such file or directory
| dh_strip: chmod 0644 -- debian/fuse-dbg/usr/lib/debug/.build-id/2b/bbc8403aec6a1ea2abd3cf6467439e0c4ae1ed.debug returned exit code 1

I attempted to natively build fuse 13 times now (with parallel=100) and
it failed twice like that. Without parallel, I couldn't reproduce it at
all.

Whatever is broken over here, it likely resides in debhelper and makes
fuse FTBFS randomly. I wish I could provide more details.

Helmut
