I have a 4G. (That should be a 701 model, shouldn't it?)

I just installed the current 2.6.26 package and the appropriate
eee-acpi-modules, plugged out the power adapter and rebooted.

Worked fine. No ACPI hassles, no shutdown. acpi -V reports 50.0 °C.

It didn't make a difference that I forgot to install the atl2 modules
(so no network :-) and the gspca modules in the first place either.

So I can't reproduce this problem on my 701. (Which is fine for me,
btw. ;-)
