[Debian-eeepc-devel] OT: patch commited to upstream hal to cut hal start up by about one third

Dear list,


today a patch was commited to hal [1].

        “The patch below cuts the start time of hal by about one third,
        …”

Since a new version of hal has not been released yet and I do not know
if this can be backported, it will probably be too late for inclusion in
Lenny. But hopefully we get to see it in Sid soon.
