If things work fine for you, do not upgrade. I did, and now can't 
downgrade :)

IIRC, there are people using 701 4G with the 0403 BIOS just fine.

(the DOS utility supports downgrades, I know, but I can't be bothered 
with the hassle of DOS installation).
