[Debian-eeepc-devel] Microphone

Thank  you for replying.

 I went ahead and installed ALSA 10.0,17 and it worked straight away 
without any mucking about. I played with levels to avoid distortion and 
the quality seems good enough for Skype.

BTW for others reading I installed Opera and it does not suffer the "off 
line" bug of Iceweasal/Firefox and it has a nice zoom function that is 
handy on an EeePC.
