So, here are my changes to eeepc-acpi-scripts (with diff)
What changed:
- The base configuration of OSD and the way to modify it in
/etc/default/eeepc-acpi-scripts (position and colors)
- Battery status notified (when OSD enabled) when AC is (un)plugged and
"LOW BATTERY" message is displayed (hotkeys 0000005[012])
- xrandr status notified when fn-f5 is pressed (the 'notify ""' line is
there to permit the real notification to be displayed, I think it's due
to the [ -S /tmp/.X11-unix/X0 ] condition but I don't know how to
resolve it)
- fn f6 launches the task manager. The application launched can be
modified in /etc/default/eeepc-acpi-scripts. I don't know the names of
gnome and kde task manager.
- fn f3 and f4 can show the brightness status with OSD (if enabled)
- the wireless problem seems to be resolved, as 'pciehp pciehp_force=1'
is put in '/etc/modules'
- the lines modified in suspend.sh allows wireles to be toggled after a
suspend

I think I don't forget anything
OSD doesn't seem to be so slow, I suggest to let it on by default...
Sorry for my english...
And thanks again for the work done
