Do you have pango-graphite installed? This libary causes a lot of
crashes in Gecko based programs like e.g. Iceweasel, Conkeror,
Kazehakase or Liferea. See

Just had this issue very recently (not on the EeePC though :-) and
deinstalling pango-graphite worked like a charm. :-)
