Hi,

I'm using sid on my 701 4G. As far as I can tell the free wireless
driver is working very well. 

In fact, it seems to have boosted the signal strength, or is at least
reporting it more accurately now. Before, I would only be getting about
60% signal strength, sitting in the same room as the access point, it's
100% now.

The only problem I have running sid is the new intel driver for the
integrated graphics. I'm getting a lot of flickering every time the
backlight is adjusted. See
