this live usb image uses Lenny+2.6.29 kernel : that's the reason why it

Finally, I found the "old" usb ethernet card I had lost and I could 
"net-install" Lenny.

I only found this installation of a 1008HA - which must use the same 

The problem was the same : no NIC cards when installing Lenny. SO he 
installed ubuntu 9.x with an external CD. With WIFI working, he could 
download, compile and install the drivers for the LAN card.

That's what I'll do now that I have an ethernet card, as soon as I have 
time for it.
