I also see corruption when reading large (~1GB) files over NFS.
I'm running the 2.6.29-1-686 kernel from Debian sid.

I did a few experiments.  I mounted the NFS directory with rsize=8192
and still saw the corruption.  I loaded the atl1e module with
rx_mem_size=512 and still saw the problem.

But with NFS rsize=1024 I have not seen any corruption yet.
(I'm running md5sum over my entire MythTV library over NFS -- mostly
1, 2, and 4GB files -- but it still hasn't completed.)

I haven't tried any other combinations, but the fact that the problem
goes away when the rsize fits in a single Ethernet packet looks
significant.
