Hi there,

Actually you don't need that patch for your 1005PE. You have the b/g/n
wireless card, and the 1001P and 1005P use the same card with the N
stuff removed from the hardware, so the 1001P and 1005P are the ones
that need that patch. (BTW I have a 1001P and that patch works great)
