[Debian-eeepc-devel] no sound on 1101ha after lenny -> squeeze upgrade

during boot, i noticed these kind of error messages on concole that may
explain the sound problems:

Setting up ALSA: 'alsactl restore' failed with error message 
'Unknown hardware: "HDA-Intel" "Realtek ALC269"
"HDA:10ec0269,104383ce,00100004" "0x1043" "0x83ce"'
Hardware is initialized using a guess method

is it really true that this sound hardware is not known to linux?
