i just updated 1101ha page and improved squeeze text.  

perhaps one day variable GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD will be added to
/etc/default/group, which would simplify the configuration.  now also
file /etc/grub.d/00_header needs to be edited, which should not be the
case.
