It uses kernel suspend/hibernate now.  Seems to be more reliable than uswsusp
but you don't get encryption.

If you want to encrypt your hibernate partition you create a swap partition
with LUKS encryption but using prompted key (not urandom).  initramfs is
clever enough to prompt for this as well as root partition.

Need to make sure hibernate partition is of lower priority than any other
encrypted swap partition.

Not sure about libsplashy.  Looks like splashy has a packaging bug.
