[Debian-eeepc-devel] internal mic on eeepc 1001px

hi all!
i've just asked help on the irc channel, after a first try [and a first
fail] here i am, as suggested by SynrG.

on this eeepc 1001px [BLK003X] the internal mic is not working.
i'm running linux kernel 2.6.37-trunk-686 with snd-hda-intel without
custom options [ /etc/modprobe.d/eeepc.conf sets power_save=5 ].
alsa-base version 1.0.23+dfsg-2, boot option acpi_osi=Linux,

the device is Intel Corporation N10/ICH 7 (rev 02)
subsystem: ASUSTek Computer Inc. Device 8442

Codec: Realtek ALC269

never updated the BIOS.

ps: i read the wiki.debian.org, i've seen the "working workaround"
written for the 1001px but i haven't window$ XP anymore [OBVIOUSLY!
