[Debian-eeepc-devel] Bug#739980: eeepc-acpi-scripts doesn't work any more after reboot

Update information:;

I figured out, that eeepc-acpi-scripts are working, when they are managed to
get activated. Any /etc/init.d/eeepc-acpi-scripts command does not seem to do
anything, neither start, restart, stop or reload.

But if you do dpkg-reconfigure eeepc-acpi-scripts, everything is working well.

It is also working, even if I stop KDE and restart KDE again.

Everything is working as expected, with one exception - when I reboot, it is
not working again until I do a new dpkg-reconfigure.

Maybe it has soemthing to do with udev or systemd. In the package I wondered
about /lib/udev/rules.d/eeepc-acpi-scripts.rules, that is has got no number at
the beginning. I added it for a try to 99-eeepc-acpi-scripts.rules, but this
didn't change anything.

I also get the message at dpkg-reconfigure, that the package is no more
supported by update-rc.d , whatever that means.

Hope thius helps a little bit.

Best regards

Hans
