[Debian-hebrew-common] culmus-latex

Hi,
Trying to install in Ubuntu 8.10 yields error messages. Is this normal for
packages originally made for Debian, or should it be fixed? I may be able to
help, if asked to.

Commands' output:

Sometimes, not accepting conffile updates in /etc/texmf/updmap.d
causes updmap-sys to fail.  Please check for files with extension
.dpkg-dist or .ucf-dist in this directory
