[Debian-hebrew-common] Hebrew on mutt

Hi,

I am trying to set-up hebrew on mutt. I followed Kevin Buhr's advice (
http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2008/05/msg00527.html) with the
X3.4-1968 line and ended up with seeing a bunch of numbers (ASCII codes?)
instead of letters. For examples, instead of the work בדיקה I see
\344\367\351\343\341 in the message body and nothing at all in the subject
line.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.
