That is because the package is not in Squeeze yet. (You didn't mention
Squeeze in your initial mail).

The link above lists all Debian releases that have Thawab.

If you need it on Squeeze, you can ask for a backport (See
backports.debian.org for more information).

More generally, packages.qa.debian.org gives (among other things)
version numbers of the selected pacakge in oldstable, stable, testing
and unstable.
