Correct.  I have fought hard to fix those through patching.

Did you have a look at the source of some of the packages I made?

Yes, the upstream package "sugar-base" is a public module.

/usr/bin/sugar is contained in the upstream "sugar" package.

Well, it certainly does not make sense when violating policy. :-P

Upstream naming of Git repositories seems loose too.

I intend to follow this naming scheme for binary packages:

  * Public Python modules follow Python policy.

  * Non-modules start with "sugar" or "olpc" dependening on their scope.

  * Activities end with "activity"


For source packages, I tend to start name with "sugar", but that might 
change.
