Do you know now?  If so, could you perhaps suggest improved wording to 
better help others puzzled in the future like you were previously?

I find virtual environments too error prone for testing desktop 
ineraction.  I either install the different environments one after the 
other on my own laptop, or use different machines (my girlfriend and her 
kids use Debian too on separate machines).

And I read the source changes between each release closely (even if I do 
not understand it all fully) to help get a feeling what areas of the 
code might exhibit flaws with the different Sugar branches.


Oh, BTW: You should probably read the code closely anyway (if you don't 
do that already) to make sure that packages for all Python modules 
loaded and all non-Python commands executed are explicitly depended on.  
It is not enough that they get pulled in by other packages, the package 
must depend explicitly on all code that it directly rely on.
