Agreed, this is an easy bug to fix.

Maintainance of this package have stalled for some time due to newer 
upstream releases adding new dependencies that have been tricky to 
handle (in the past at least - last I tried was in march).

I'll have another look, and if still problematic to upgrade to newer 
release I will at least release what have been already prepared in Git 
which (if I recall correctly) fixes this issue too.


Thanks anyway, your info is valuable nevertheless (and you couldn't know 
that we had something prepared already as we have failed to report 
progress to this bugreport).
