Yes, we do intend to drop some branches of Sugar.

I have taken the liberty to cc our mailinglist, and ask you to please 
use that in the future (Mail-Followup-To set appropriately).

We briefly discussed this issue recently but I fail to locate it now.  I 
seem to recall that we want to maintain 3 branches: 0.84 (well 
maintained upstream, indicating likely popularity among deployments), 
the newest stable-in-Debian branch (0.88?) and newest upstream stable 
release (0.94).

It probably makes best sense in the future to package not-yet-stable 
branch for experimental, as evidently (as seen with 0.92) we can be so 
slow as to not finish it before next branch has matured.
