I looked at the buildd-logs for ppc64 and found that
the last version which built without problems on ppc64 was
emacs-snapshot_20050901-1. That version did not need any patch
to build on ppc64.

The versions emacs-snapshot_20050908-1 and _20050918-1 both
had a segfault during the build process on ppc64 as follows:

Loading site-init...
Dumping under names emacs and emacs-22.0.50.1
1686000 pure bytes used
./emacs -q -batch -f list-load-path-shadows
Fatal error (11)make[3]: *** [emacs] Segmentation fault
make[3]: Leaving directory `/emacs-snapshot-20050918/src'
(export PARALLEL; PARALLEL=0; cd leim; /usr/bin/make all -w \
  CC='powerpc64-linux-gnu-gcc' CFLAGS='-DDEBIAN -g -Wno-pointer-sign -O2' CPPFLAGS='-D_BSD_SOURCE  ' \
  LDFLAGS='-g' MAKE='/usr/bin/make')

I am just trying to rebuild emacs-snapshot_20050922-1 to check if it
has the same problem.
