[Debian-ppc64-devel] boot: mlinux: Unable to open file, Invalid device

Hi,

Moments ago I installed Debian (debian-40r4a-powerpc-netinst.iso) in an
LPAR on a power5 in a virtual disk (e.g. a vios logical volume). Now the
installation runs fine, all kinds of packages get installed, but the
next boot fails. First I had to manually set the boot-device in the SMS
menu but after that I get the debian bootloader with the error message:
boot: mlinux: Unable to open file, Invalid device
Pressing 'tab' shows nothing.
How can I resolve this problem?
