    The examples look great!  Thank you for the work you did.
    
    I will probably revert the change to .gitignore in the future, as a user who decides to build binaries in their source tree can call their build directory anything they want.  I also don't want to implicitly sanction in source builds, so I just don't feel this belongs in the repo.
