Hi,

I have uloaded updated kernel-patch and kernel-image packages to
http://www.arndb.de/debian/. They don't seem to work in bochs
(hang during kernel thread initialization), but if you want to hack on
them, the source is there. It could also be a bochs or gcc problem.
