Board Elections Schedule Posted

OASIS members are reminded the 2004 Board of Directors and Technical
Advisory Board election schedule has been posted.  See
http://www.oasis-open.org/private/2004board_elections/ for details of the
schedule and the process for making nominations to both Boards.

OASIS members are encouraged to post relevant questions to the Board of
Director candidates. Questions sent to member_questions@oasis-open.org will
be compiled and an anonymous representative sampling will be forwarded to
candidates. Their replies will be included on the candidate profile web
pages.

The OASIS XACML TC Accepts the RBAC Profile as a Committee Draft

The OASIS eXtensible Access Control Markup Language (XACML) TC voted to
accept the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) Profile as a Committee Draft.
This is a part of the ongoing work on XACML version 2.0.

The Consortium and its Member Sections are transitioning to a new logo,
versatile enough for use in website, signage, and printed materials. The new
