[Debootloaders-yaboot] Bug#405337: powerpc-ibm-utils: ofpathname cannot handle device partitions

Package: powerpc-ibm-utils
Version: 1.0.2-1
Severity: normal

ofpathname cannot handle block devices representing partitions:

% /usr/sbin/ofpathname /dev/hda
/pci at f4000000/ata-6 at d/disk at 0

% /usr/sbin/ofpath /dev/hda
/pci at f4000000/ata-6 at d/disk at 0:

% /usr/sbin/ofpathname /dev/hda3
/usr/sbin/ofpathname: line 237: cd: /sys/block/hda3: No such file or directory
ofpathname: Could not find sysfs information for logical
            device "/dev/hda3".

hardknott% /usr/sbin/ofpath /dev/hda3
/pci at f4000000/ata-6 at d/disk at 0:3

Since ofpath (provided by yaboot) can work with such devices, it would
be useful if ofpathname could also. The necessary information /is/
in sysfs; ofpathname just needs teaching to look for it.

Roger
