I meant that I am probably going to backport it to 1.3.14, as I
consider it fixed in the upstream git repository.

No, uploads to experimental are not migrated automatically to unstable.
It is up to the maintainer to do that, but I am not very fond of
uploading development snapshots to unstable if I cannot do otherwise.
