Package: yaboot
Version: 1.3.17-4
Severity: important
Tags: upstream

Dear Maintainer,

Debian Stretch uses the version of yaboot that will not boot the kernel. This is the error I recieve:

boot/vmlinux: unknown or corrupt filesystem

I discovered that a workaround is to create a seperate /boot partition and format it with ext2. This issue is also present in Gentoo and Ubuntu-MATE. I have verifed this workaround works in both Debian and Ubuntu.
