I'll do.

The good news:
the patches for libtagcoll and libapt-front, which were needed earlier to
compile the Python swig bindings, could be reduced to a two-line-patch to
libtagcoll, which is due to a bug in the swig C++ parser (see link above).

This, alas, requires the bindings to be built with SWIG CVS right now, but I
hope that SWIG will see another release before the Python bindings are ready for
prime time.

Once my svn account works, I'll also commit the new code, so expect it to appear
sometime on the weekend.
