I harvested the (short) thread for ideas and put them in the mentioned wiki 
page: https://wiki.debian.org/Games/DebTags

I also found a much richer source for tags in the giant bomb game database. 
And I had the (brilliant :-) idea to google for "game ontology", guess what...
