[Demi-devel] Initial Demi release

Hi everyone--

I've committed the initial public release of Demi, which has been graciously
sponsored by my employer, Citizens Communications. Code is available from:

The installation procedure is somewhat manual now, and is listed in INSTALL.
The TODO list is a bit disorganized, but I wanted to make sure I listed all
known remaining features/bugs. The best place to start is probably
discussing TODO and ranking the items. :-)
