+GNOME is not included in the 1.2.1-rc1 release

+I know this will upset many people, but the 1.2.1-rc2 ISO has no GNOME
+support, and you will get Fluxbox by default.

+The main reason  is that this  RC2 is meant for  testing mainly and is
+much easier    to  debug when  the    scope of possible   problems  is
+limited. In particular the GNOME suite,  even when reduced at minimum,
+is considerably large in terms of number of packages.

+The current goal is to build up a  stable and reliable base system for
+the  actual 1.2.1  release. After that   we  validated the fundamental
+stones (installer, kernel,   sound applications) we  might consider to
+add more packages.
