+The Debian Enhancement Proposal's website is made with Subversion and Ikiwiki.

+The post-commit hook ‘/svn/dep/hooks/post-commit’ is unusual as it is not
+compiled by ikiwiki at setup time.  Instead it is a simple shell script that
+calls ‘svn update’ and ‘ikiwiki --refresh’.  While ugly and inefficient, it
+allows to use ikiwiki without GCC, which is not installed on Alioth.  A copy of
+the hook is stored in ‘svnhooks/post-commit’.
