Bug#824369: debdiff: wrong Bash completion behaviour for ‘--debs-dir’ option

Package: devscripts
Version: 2.16.4
Severity: normal
User: devscripts at packages.debian.org
Usertags: debdiff
Owner: !
The behaviour of the Bash completion function for the ‘debdiff’
command is broken:
$ debdiff --debs-dir <TAB>
# result: inserts one SPACE, no names.
$ debdiff --debs-dir ../<TAB>
# result: *every* matching directory name at once, on separate lines.
I will attempt to correct this by re-writing the completion function.
